Long Term Gear Review: Hiking, Backpacking, Camping, and Alpine Climbing in Lorpen T3+ Winter Socks

As we are wrapping up true “winter climbing” (yes, spring conditions can still remain very winter-like up on the high peaks), I often reflect on what gear changes I’ve made that have really worked over the coldest season and which ones haven’t.

Today’s video is a gear review of something that has really worked for me. I’ve been using winter socks from Lorpen for a few seasons, now. They have Polartec and Primaloft fabric, and they have really done a great job keeping my feet warm while avoiding blisters.
